We are not
Alone:
What Jesus taught about
the Holy Spirit Pastor
Galen begins with a look at the role the Holy Spirit played in the
life of Jesus. Since Jesus was God, we forget that he was also
human, & he needed the empowerment, guidance & blessing of the
Spirit in his life. How much more do we need the fullness of the
Spirit. Come and learn and experience.
John 1:19-34.
8. Empowered by
the Spirit
Jesus promised that we would receive power from the Holy Spirit to
be his witnesses. What kind of power do we get and what does it mean
to be a witness? Is it just saying a good word for Jesus every now
and again, or is it more than that?

7.Spirit Fruit The mark of Christian maturity is never found in the things
the world might measure - our degrees or accomplishments or fame -
but rather in character. What does it mean to be like Jesus?

6. Worship in
Spirit and Truth
Jesus set us free so that we might worship him! What does it mean to
worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)? Worship involves a
balance between content and experience and between preparation and
spontaneity.

5. The Holy Spirit
Set Me Free
The Holy Spirit has connected us to God & seeks for us to fully

The Holy
Spirit as the Other Jesus
In the Bible Jesus is called our Advocate (or Comforter) and he said
that upon his departure, he would send another Advocate who would
not simply be with us, but would be in us. We are Not Alone. What
difference does it make, on a daily basis, to know & experience the
“other Jesus” in my life?
