What Small Group Means to Me.
I am a member of
a small group. I was invited to attend last fall when I was
having marital trouble. Being with the group and having them
pray for me has been such a tremendous help. My marriage is
back on track and I am still attending the group because I truly
enjoy hearing everyone’s thoughts and input on their faith. I
have become much more faithful in my reading of the word daily
and increasing my prayer time. |
What Small Group Means to Me.
Being a member of small group allows the opportunity to study
the bible, share joys, sorrows and concerns, keep accountable to
other Christians who face similar challenges in life, show the
love of Christ to others and lift up each other in prayer in a
small intimate setting.
A small group setting is exactly what the name says: a "small
group" of believers who band together for comradeship, where
they can build a personal relationship with each person in the
group and to get to know their joys, sorrows, fears, strengths,
struggles whether it be in their religious walk or their
personal lives outside of the church. |
